We're Back and Coconutty! Coconut Milkshake by The Prestige Vape Malaysia E-Liquid Review

First and foremost, we would like to apologize for our long absence. Things have been hectic in the Malaysian vape scene lately, especially with threats of a total ban on electronic cigarettes, vape stores being raided, smear campaigns on vaping and such, but we are glad things are settling down and it's business as usual.

Our first review after the long layoff is a special one, dedicated to those who are thinking of switching from fruity flavors to creamy ones - but have never done so. 

There are many reasons why vapers are reluctant to try or switch to creamy flavors. Some feel creamy flavors belong on a plate, not in a dripper. Some can't leave fruity, cooling flavors behind. Some just haven't found the right creamy flavor that's worth sticking to. Hopefully, this one will be!

After trying numerous creamy testers, this one really caught our eye (tongue, actually).

Coconut Milkshake by The Prestige Vape Malaysia.

The device we used to test this particular e-liquid is a Dark Horse RDA (regular-sized drip tip, all air holes open) mated to a Joyetech Evic VTC Mini. Coil setup is a conservative dual coil (26ga Kanthal, 9 wraps each) running at 0.5 ohms, fired at 30-35 watts. 

The common complaint about creamy flavors is that some flavors are overwhelming and sometimes even sickening. We popped the cap open and out came a wonderfully light, coconut aroma. From the very first puff, we knew this one is something special. A nice, muted cooling sensation that's missing from most creamy flavors is the first thing we noticed. This certainly helps those who are used to cool, fruity flavors. 

Then there's the coconut. 

Think coconut cookies topped with a healthy dollop of Sangkaya coconut ice-cream. It's that good!

The flavors were smooth, refreshing and leaves just enough aftertaste to not be intrusive. We have not tried this in a tank as we think it'll be just nice as a dessert vape. A couple of hits on a dripper is plenty good. We can really see ourselves vaping this for a long time to come. 

The results does justice to the name coconut milkshake. While you wouldn't mistake this for Klebang's Famous Coconut Shake, it does deserve similar amounts of fame. We are guessing this doesn't have quite the extensive reseller coverage just yet, but you can check out The Prestige Vape Malaysia's Facebook page here for the list of resellers.

Fizzy Kola E-liquid Review

Ahh, the cola flavor. This is probably one of the most popular flavors in beverages, candies and such. So there is no surprise that the cola turns up in e-liquids as well.

If you frequent vape stores like we do, you would have definitely seen the Fizzy Kola banner in the background somewhere. For those who have not tried this, you should give it a go.

If you're expecting this to taste like Coca-Cola,  you would be wrong. Think cola gummy candy, then you'd be on the right track.

Tasting like one of our favorite childhood candies, this liquid has just the right amount of sweetness and a whole lot of cooling sensation. Be warned, though. This is suitable as an in-between flavor as it could get overwhelming quite quickly. To some, it may taste a little medicine-like, similar to some cherry flavors. We like it, though.

Boy's Sirap Laici by Vapor Boy Review

The first e-juice review for June is mmmmm mmmmm! Delicious!
Say hello to Boy's Sirap Laici. Its tantalizing bright red makes it tempting to drink from the bottle! (But please. Don't.)

At first vape, the taste is very similar to Ministry of Juicer's Violent. The lychee flavor in this e-liquid is the most obvious and paired with a mild rose tone.
It does taste like actual Sirap Ais you would get from your usual mamak. This is definitely light enough to be an all-day vape and certainly scores highly in our books.

And oh, we are getting massive clouds from this too!

Flavor of The Month! Juice No. 888 by Da Vapes

Our flavor of the month is here!

Juice No. 888 by Da Vapes or better known simply as 888 at the vendors is our favorite E-liquid for May.

The fancy yellow you see here suits its fruity flavor very well. The flavor being Mango, very ripe Mango to be exact. And it is almost like the real thing!

Sweet and fragrant, this juice creates fantastic clouds of vapor and tastes delicious. The best part is, it leaves behind just the right amount of aftertaste and menthol to keep you desiring for more!

We've gone through almost 20 bottles of this amazing potion and the flavors are spot on from each one. We highly recommend this one!

Regardless of whether you like fruity flavors or not, this could very well be your next favorite.

Ministry of Juicer - Violent Review

No, no. The review isn't violent. That's just what this E-liquid is called. From Ministry of Juicer, this flavor has risen in popularity in the recent months. I myself, had gone through about 10 30ml bottles in the last 2 months!

The white label and light green contents are easily recognizable and popping up everywhere in vape stores. It smells absolutely fantastic out of the bottle. Fragrant lychee notes with slight hints of guava (noticeable when vaping) is very nice to vape. This had been my all-day vape for weeks. The strong lychee aftertaste and strong cooling effect is refreshing and unlike anything I've tasted before.

Long-term:
This particular juice is kind to coils, with minimal gunking, common to sweet, fruity flavors. My only gripe about this is consistency. One particular bottle of Violent tasted different and seemed as if it was burnt, even with new coils and wicks.
I would still recommend this flavor, though. Let's just hope inconsistencies don't happen to often!

Puaka Juice E-liquid Review

Our first review is on this funky looking E-liquid / E-juice called Puaka Juice. According to our vendor, Puaka is very popular among Malaysian vapers. So, we gave it a shot!

The liquid is a bluish-green concoction that smells rather strong of a blueberry and honeydew mix. To be honest, we've passed on this E-liquid several times before. After persistent recommendations by the vendor, we decided to go for it.

It fills up quite nicely and looks fantastic in the Subtank Mini (if you're into that type of thing). Now the most important part, how it vapes!

The flavor is primarily blackcurrant and koolada and it comes together quite nicely despite the strong smell. The blackcurrant is not overly strong, but we suspect there are some other flavor at work here (honeydew, we think!). The cooling effect is intense!

After one whole day of vaping Puaka, the flavor did get a little tiresome on the tastebuds and left us wanting a quick flavor change. At times, it tasted a little too artificial.

It's still a good E-liquid / E-juice. After all, there must be some reason it's so popular!

We think as an all-day vape, this one makes the grade (just barely),  but would do very nicely as an in-between your regular juice type of flavor. For fruit flavor and menthol vapers, do give this a try.

As for all our reviewed liquids, we will be doing long-term reviews as well to check for consistency and effects on the wick / coil. Look out for them!
